My fiance wanted tungsten because it is damn near scratch proof and so far it has lived up to that description. This ring looks VERY nice and is a good width for a man. My fiance is a big guy with big hands, and I was worried that 6mm would look too feminine but it doesnt. The black is more like a real dark gray/charcoal, which looks very elegant (for a guy) and not so much gothic.
